Alvirillas Viewpoint
From the Melegís viewpoint, follow the white-and-green SL-A 214 markings down toward the orchards.
A gentle route among orange orchards and historic irrigation channels of Arab origin, ideal for the whole family. In spring the scent of orange blossom fills the air; in autumn the fruit-laden orange trees colour the valley.
The trail, certified as SL-A 214, links Melegís and Restábal in a loop: it descends from the Mirador de las Alvirillas toward the Béznar reservoir, climbs alongside the Ízbor river to Restábal and returns parallel to the Dúrcal. There is barely any elevation change and the path is comfortable all year round.
